Both are composed of socialist and libertarians, which are on the opposite sides of the ideological scale.
Interventionist foreign or domestic policies instituted by government are socialist by nature.

Investigate each and everyone of these candidates and I believe you will come to the same conclusion.
In a nation where 6 out of 10 planks of the Communist Manifesto have been fulfilled, some people are blinded to those espousing personal liberty or responsibility. Furthermore these people and groups are usually depended on government for their sustenance or to further their agendas which degrade the liberty and well being of their fellow Americans.
