A NEW HOPE
We all have been living a nightmare. A vision D. Eisenhower warned of in his 1961 farewell address to the nation. In his address, Eisenhower warned of the corruption of our government, our society, and our culture by the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX. It seems that as a nation, we have not listened. Eisenhower’s dire vision has become our reality. And from this fearful dream, this nation is waking. Our eyes are opening to the truth collectively for the first time. WE THE PEOPLE are finding that we have been subjugated, placated into ignorance and fear, lied to by the very people we have entrusted to preserve and protect our rights, liberties, and our constitution. Many will turn away in fear of truth and close their eyes once again. To open our eyes to this reality, is to also understand that we are all responsible for it as well. complacency and dependence upon the machine keeps THE PEOPLE in line because it is convenient and safe. We have sold our souls. We have as a nation let this happen to ourselves.
My heart breaks for the people of this nation. Our government wages war upon our freedoms, liberties, and our constitution. I watch our republic’s destruction, not to the sound of guns or bombs, but to the sound of thunderous applause of those held captive by terrified patriotic blindness, guided by the propaganda of fear, as we give our rights and even the lives of our fellow man for the profit of the corrupt. A fear that is erasing our great history of freedom and repeating itself 70 years later with another dictatorship of war, under the guise of homeland security and the protection of the people.
BUT THERE IS STILL HOPE.
With love and openness, we can overcome ignorance and fear. It is our right as the people, and my duty as a United States MARINE written into our constitution by our founding fathers, entrusted to us, by the people, to ensure that our liberty, freedom, and the constitution never again become the subjugation of the corruption that we have wrought upon ourselves. We must take back our country, and give it to the people. So let us open our hearts, take responsibility, and make our HOPE become our reality. Lets begin REVOLUTION. His name is Dr. Ron Paul

Thank you for your service and kind words of warning. We, each in our own way are distributing this message far and wide. Some are resistant, but like a discussion I had just this weekend with a long time friend, many are cautious but receptive. Yet many more have heard and understood, but remain locked in cognitive dissonance, rendered almost psychologically impotent. It was well put in the movie "The Matrix". "Most of these people are so entrenched, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they'll do anything, even fight you to preserve it." The truth in this is an understatement
This is a long and hard education/action campaign stretching way beyond the scope of a President. This problem is too pervasive to be solved by one man.
Military personnel have a unique position. Your words have a much greater impact than I can ever hope to impart. People trust you. When you speak out, you turn heads in a few words, which would've taken me a thousand. You all are such an asset to this movement.
Please keep your hopes up and continue to strive for the good of man. One mind and one heart at a time, we will bring the dream back. Not just of government, but the whole atmosphere and sentiment of America. We have to.

Sgt. Gallien.......thank you for your eloquent and correct analysis of our Republics tribulation. Yours is a hard act to follow, however........
I am afraid that the selling of our souls is almost complete. Americans, today, have an opportunity to place a true Patriot in office and are, mostly, laughing at him. We have never, in our lifetimes, had this chance to elect a credible man to the office of President who has the courage to speak the hard truths concerning the demise of our Republic and our liberties. While Ron Paul is not perfect, he is our only hope for the present to restore our precious Republic.
I do not mean to sound cynical, but it appears that the American public is too deep in their selfish desires, their apathy and their complacency to overcome the forces that now threaten to destroy us. The stage has been set now for 95 years since the implementation of the Federal Reserve Act and the 16th Amendment. The final act approaches.
We will miss this opportunity, and Ron Paul, at 72, will not run again. Who is waiting to fill his shoes ?? Besides, the Men Behind the Curtain will only be further empowered in the future and will not relinquish their power willingly.
America will get what they deserve. The problem is that you and I, and all other Patriots, will pay the price with them. Democracies are, essentially, mob rule, where the majority force their will on the minority. This is why our Founding Fathers created a Constitutional Republic. America will wait until it's too late to regain our Republic through the ballot box, if it's not too late already.
Patriot has now become a "cute" word to be thrown around in order to buy votes. I, and I believe you, are Patriots with a capital "P". A Patriot is willing to place himself in harms way to protect his liberties. Unfortunately, Patriotism today would equate to martyrdom. I am already experiencing a form of this.
FYI........my son, as a Major with 18 years service in the U.S. Army, is in the process of tendering his resignation. He believes that he would, ultimately, be ordered to enforce UN resolutions against the American people according to the criteria of the Council on Foreign Relations, of which all the Presidential candidates are members, except Ron Paul. My son is a serious, squared away military man who has dreamed of becoming a soldier since he was 8 years old. The PhyOps training he, and probably you, have experienced is not only aimed at the enemy, but is probably aimed at controlling the American public.
As a Christian, I do not believe, as some of my brethren do, that my God commands me to shrink from my obligation to "know the condition of my flocks", nor to passively roll over and to condone theft of my personal property, by individuals or government. Yes, I have read the Book and know how this story ultimately ends, but I nevertheless have a God given obligation to resist. Other than praying and voting, I'm not sure we can do much else unless the people really care. Today, they do not care.
I have 4 sons and 3 grandsons, all of whom I am preparing to face the probable wrath of government when the National ID Cards become mandate and the New World Order is firmly established. I fear for them, but thank God they all have the strength and courage bred into them to persist.
God bless you, and God help our Republic, and Semper Fi. You are not alone, and I know I'm not either. That is some consolation, at least.
